Yesterday I picked up an old Schwinn Hollywood at a local store in St. Pete. Despite all of the rust, the bike is in fairly good shape and shouldn’t be too hard to clean up. I really wanted to keep the original paint, but I think I’m going to completely strip and repaint it. I’ll be posting pictures of the progress over the next few days. Hopefully I won’t mess this up too much. :)

I always love when August rolls around; it gives me the chance to pick up extremely cheap art supplies that I can goof around with, haha! I’ve been seeing a lot of people gluing crayons to a poster board and letting them melt, so I decided to try a little variation of that. I tried using my hair dryer to melt the crayons so I could “paint” with them. It gives an interesting effect and is kind of hard to control, but is definitely fun to do!
